CWA and TIC DETECTION DEVICES DEVELOPED FOR FNSS DEFENCE INDUSTRIES INC. DELIVERED

Since 2002, around 1000 units of portable/stationary CWA Detection Devices have been developed, manufactured and delivered to Turkish Armed Forces and many public institutions and organizations. 

In this context, studies were conducted on TICs, which are used in industry and may pose risk when released to environment in big quantities; and the developed devices were added the capability to detect these chemicals, too.  The devices are actively used in MİLGEM 3, 4; LST (Landing Ship, Tank) and Test&Training Ships. Currently, new types of devices are being developed for various institutions in line with their requirements. The only institution developing and manufacturing these devices nationally in Turkey is TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute.
